   Lisa started her show career at the age of 12 .  She began showing Quarter Horses in pleasure, equitation, trail and showmanship.  In her teens she graduated to Reining Cow Horses until her early adulthood. Lisa became interested in showing Miniature horses in 1987. Soon after that she developed an interest in driving and to hone her abilities, she took dressage lessons in order to correctly "start" a driving horse. Lisa has been an AMHA carded judge for 12 years, AMHA National Horse Show judge in 2002 and international judge since 2002. A Miniature horse trainer for almost 20 years, she is a multiple year past member of AMHA's Licensed Officials Committee and Show Rules. Lisa's first National Grand Halter win was in 1993 and there have been numerous National and World titles since.

     I raised Quarter horses when Lisa and I first met. My Daddy and Grand Daddy were both Texas Aggie large animal Veterinarians. I have 10 years of experience in "Minis" and I am the creator and Chairman of AMHA's new Performance Committee. I am a past member of Show Rules and currently a director for Region 6. I authored the new Performance Futurity (Country & Single Pleasure driving and Hunter) which starts with the nomination of the 2007 foal crop and takes effect in 2010 with their three year old year. I also created the 3 year old Stakes driving classes which has out approximately $70,000.00 to date at the AMHA World show! I also submitted the "new" Halter Futurity plan which promises to greatly increase payout. Starting this year the new driving division, Classic Pleasure Driving, which has been a five year endeavor of mine will finally come to reality.

     We train and show approximately 20 miniature horses each year for Open, Amateur and Youth competitors. We offer lessons and value our Youth and Amateur clientel. We also provide placement services and sales for prospective buyers and sellers of miniature horses AMHA and AMHR.

     Our goal for this site is to  promote AMHA & AMHR Miniature Driving Horses. Our network of contacts is very extensive and includes Breeders, Trainers, Buyers, and Clients. We spend a lot of time on the road and are always stopping at Breeders and Trainers places to look at horses. We have an exemplary track record when it comes to "evaluating" a driving horses potential and have found many winning horses for clients over the years. The "For Sale" horses page differs from the usual ads you will see on the web as they have been evaluated by us.
